It’s irritating when people you know or just know of don’t learn from their mistakes and that seems to be the case with YouTube. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, I’m sure you’re aware that it was a huge mess in 2017. Strict guidelines were enforced and videos were demonetized even when guidelines were followed. When YouTubers tried getting their content reviewed after that most of the time they would be told that it was actually eligible and they can make money of it again. Sadly, that did not fix their problem. Usually, by the time the content is reviewed, it isn’t relevant and they can’t make as much profit of it. Not only that, but they often end up demonetized again.

Going into the new year I expected it to be a bad one. It seems I was correct to assume so. 2018 has been nothing but garbage so far not only with all the drama going on online but also for me at home. I had a rough start to college back in the fall, not getting the highest grade in one of my classes, but fortunately I haven’t failed anything. Sadly, I was informed that I wasn’t eligible for financial aid and ended up getting dropped from all of my freaking classes. So last Friday, I spent so many hours wandering around my college campus trying to get this taken care of with getting permission from instructors and filling out all the forms.
